In celebration of 25 years of the Clio, Renault commissioned an interactive event involving a huge Parisian themed birdcage, positioned in front of St Pancras, as the Eurostar Terminal and gateway to Paris.

The birdcage housed a Clio, beneath a large velvet swing, and a surrounding mesh on the outside housed hundreds of padlocks locks, with the challenge to commuters to find the keys to unlock some impressive prizes.

As an installation, the birdcage was 8 m tall, and as can be seen in the video ease of assembly and disassembly was an important consideration.

As with any outdoor installation it had to be structurally stable and also take into account the sloping floor it was sitting on.
